SSLY05 Car Show Photo Index 1

Each year the Marine Corp Reserve Center at Sharpe Depot in Lathrop sort of kick off the Christmas Toy Drive Shows around the Central Valley. This year was no different, and the weather which everyone was sort of checking the forecasts for due to the possible chances of rain cooperated with a nice blue sky fall day. The rodders didn't let the Marines down either, they came out with the toys and the report was this years show was the second largest one they have had at almost 120 cars. The raffle was big as it usually is and the individual raffles for specific items were there as well. The Marines set up a gigantic inflatable obstacle course, but there wasn't a whole lot of kids to take advantage of it though. Inside the Marines building they have a basket ball court where they were having games to see who could make the longest and most hoops which seemed very popular. The great thing is this show provides one of the last shows for everyone to go to and at the same time gets the Marine Corp Reserve Toys for Tots rolling so the kids win to. I have around 250 pix in the photo album, take a moment and enjoy them.....
