Arrived at the show at about 11:00am. Started making the rounds of
show taking pictures as I went. The weather was warm, but the smog
here in the valley made the sky very gray. Not a really great day
for picture taking, but a good day for the show though. Even though I still was able to get around 100
pictures for the Church of the Nazarene Car Show photo set.
It's really funny, you sit there taking pictures at a show,
one after another trying to get the obvious obstacles out of the
pictures like chairs, people, and trash on the ground. But until
you start reworking the pictures, you don't realize that there
were a lot of power poles and power lines in the pictures, and
that half the rods had canopies behind them. Most of the power
poles and lines as well as most of the canopies have been removed
from the shots where it was feasible to do.
I hope you enjoy another Rock 'N Rod Photo Section, this one is
devoted to the Church of the Nazarene Classic Car Show 2002...
