Rock 'N Rod's Newest Photo Gallery Additions

Each car show season we attend many California Central Valley and Coast car shows. As we do, we place photo galleries online for all who visit the Rock 'N Rod site. This section is set aside for the newest photo galleries that we have added.

Our 2nd Annual Christmas Toy Drive Car Show December 8th, 2007 here in Hughson pretty much ends the 2007 Car Show season for Rocknrod. With this years show really the 1st show since we were pretty much rained out last year, we did a lot better. We had 31 rods turn out and quite a

few drive-in drop offs of toys and canned food. So a big thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the show a success. It takes a lot of Toys and canned food to make upwards of 400 Christmas baskets which is what the Hughson Community Christian Service Center does each Christmas. Hopefully we helped make a dent in what they need. I would like to thank the following for their support this year...

The Central Valley Knight's and Smith Chevrolet held their annual Christmas Car Show at Smith's Chevrolet in Turlock on Saturday December 1st, 2007. This is always a well attended show and is held as a toy drive car show for the Toys for Tots program. Turnout was good, with around 100 rods on a beautiful crisp chilly blue sky day here in the valley. No clouds, no rain for a change. During the Veterans Day Car Show in Turlock, one of the members of the Latin Style Car Club came up and asked if I would get this flyer he was handing me on the RNR site. I told him I would, hopefully I would be able to try and attend and get photos for RNR. Being short notice, I wasn't sure how well it would go. Well, I would say it went pretty good. The Salvation Army facility on Lander Ave. in Turlock is a pretty good place for a show actually. As the show progressed, more cars arrived. Take a look at their 1st annual car Turkey Drive. [...more]
